The Al-Shams Linguistics Olympiad (ASLO) is an annual competition designed to ignite a passion for linguistics and its related disciplines among secondary school students in the UAE. Participants have the opportunity to showcase their skills and potentially represent the UAE at the International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL).
